Long way from where I wanna be, buts it's about the journey not the destination. Eating is my biggest hurdle, can't seem to eat enough to put on lean mass.
LOL, its true, you can kill yourself in the gym but if the diet isnt there then your just spinning your wheel. Right now Im eating 10 egg whites a day, 1 lb of steak(the leanest i can find), 1 lb of a turkey, meat and potato pie from a bb book i bought, 2 shakes a day, an almond butter and banana sandwich, a banana, 2 servings of carrots and 3 chicken breasts for dinner. Everything is split up into 6 or 7 meals. I dont think its that im not eating enough, its these damn 10 and 12 hour days at work.
sounds like you may be eating a little to clean.
Should I consume more fats or carbs? I know my fat intake is really low, almost non existent. I keep my protein around 250 a day, total cals is around 3000. Guess I can start taking that nasty meal replacement shake I got, but man it's horrible.
Just basically eat everything you can within reason..Don't go eating McDonalds just to eat, but the fat wouldn't hurt you. You'll want to get the weight on so that your body will be accustommed to that weight and you can always cut the fat off later as long as you're not getting out of control.
