Im 12 weeks away from a Key West vacation for my buddies wedding. Ive been carbing up heavy since thanksgiving (good carbs) and im 210lbs on the home scale. My bf last night was 17.2. I am batting gastritis and an ulcer so for now there will be no protein powders or pre/post wo supplementation other than food.
Plan- First 6 weeks carb load with 1 cardio session everyday. Carb load will look like this.
mon- less than 150 carbs
tues- less than 150 carbs
wed- less than 150 carbs
thurs- less than 150 carbs
fri- between 150-250 carbs
sat- between 150-250 carbs
sun- between 250-400 carbs
Second 6 weeks will be a slow carb depletion that worked well for me over the summer before my cruise. Ill start at 150 carbs a day for 2 weeks, drop down to 100 for the next 2 weeks, and 50 carbs the final 2 weeks. I may start to carb up 3 days before we leave.
Right now my low carb days is as follows
1 Banana on the way to the gym for Cardio
Meal 1- 2 packs cream of wheat 8 slices of boars head low sodium turkey breast
Meal 2- 10 egg whites on a gutted roll w swiss, 1 serving unsalted mixed nuts
Meal 3 (post workout)- 1 cup oats w/ 1 tsp brown sugar, 8 slices turkey breast
Meal 4- 10oz chicken breast 1 cup brown rice
Meal 5- 10oz chicken breast reduced fat unsalted cottage cheese
Meal 6- Steak or Chicken Breast w broccoli florets or asparagus
Snack- Jello cups (sugar free) or Pudding Cups (sugar free, 6 carbs per serving)
Havent gotten to my Med carb days but I will post when I get there...
