How much weight do you consider too much when curling?
I have noticed from all the years I have been lifting that when I am doing even 3 sets of 10 with 135 pounds with barbell curls, or 105 on preacher curl, my arms dont neccesarily get bigger.
Some are in the opinion that 2 10s on each side of the preaher curl is more than enough to yeild the same results.

My personal typical Bi workout consists of this:

*Preacher curl w/ easy bar 3 x 10
*Preacher curl Individual hammers 3 x 10 per side
*Cable curls (up high pulling towards hear) 3 x 10
*Individual cable (pulling from hand supinated and flat down to opposite clavicle) 3 x 10
*drag curls 3 x 10
*Than I will usually do either standing hammers, pin wheels, concentration, or laying flat pulling the rop in from bent knees close to hands going apart to shoulders--- any one of these for 3 x 10

You might be overtraining them ..

i do a maximum of 9 working sets and one drop set for bies... minimal rest periods though...no particular exercises i vary them every time i train. they seem to grow off that.
i consider bies to be a very small muscle. no need to do so many sets.

a couple months back left arm was 18 1/2 pumped and I was 192 at the time, its not that I have small arms but who doesnt want to see there arms a little bigger lol I'd like to see 19

I dont think heavy weight is needed to grow ur biceps, medium weight with perfect form will do the trick everytime! I think the same can be said for traps, and tris.

yeah def but than again no matter what exercise I do my traps get bigger lol

I agree with Presser on this.. My arm don't grow very much when I try to go heavy.. But if I do lighter weight like 50lb dumbbell for 3 sets of 15 they seem to grow alot better.. I'm pushing for 20" arms... The damm things are just to dam long tho... lol

how much fat is on your arms? I have virtually none so my friend braggs his are bigger but I can grab an ich of fat bi his tricep

I don't know how big my arms are, but they are big for my weight and I don't do anything too heavy, just focus on squeezing the shit out of them
