so I had a long day, and was waiting for my workout partner to call me to workout, well I waited too long and didnt hear anything so I didnt go...... I felt horribly guilty about it, like when you know they are short at work, and you call out just bc you dont want to be in there, making the situation that much worse. It ate at me. So I ended up doing sets of push ups, inclined push ups, pull ups and sit ups all at the house, def not as good but I think my chest was more pumped yesterday than when Im pressing 100 # db's

Sometimes I rationalize it by telling my self it is good for my body to have the rest day. I bet with the pushups, next chest day
you will probably feel stronger. Cant beat yourself up when you miss but you can use it to make sure you dont miss next time.

Sometimes when things don't work out I take it as a sign that it wasn't meant to be. Have bodybuilding add to your life and not be a source of anxiety.... unless you are prepping for a show. This is my mindset after 19 years. A day means nothing, unless you get injured. It's the years

That's definitely a good way to look at things.
