For the lack of activity on this board as of lately. Im not one to make excuses but my ass has been running wide open and it has been wearing me thin. Between work, training, preping others, cardio, and cooking, I have been strecthed thin. Today it all finally caught up to me. During my workout today I started feeling really really bad, weak, and my body turned very pale. My girl rushed me to the doctor. My blood pressure was sky high and I was running a fever. Basically I have just been overdoing it with this contest prep and need more sleep and better time management. So Im taking the whole weekend off from work and training and going to relax and let my body recover. I was just pushing it to hard and it finally gave in on me today. With this being said, I will make more time for this board aswell. Of course after my show, things will be back to normal.

You're doing a great job nuk. Like you, its hard for me to stop while im ahead and take a break. But you've earned it.
 
I havent had the chance to really get to know you are share your ideas and learn from you and share ideas and such, but why make a thread like this, it's clear that you are working your ass off for this show. Do you brutha, get it on and do what needs to be done.:gold: I'm quite convinced that the whole community knows what the Nuk is up to...

you need to get one and check your bp daily,you will have to special order a large one or get a wrist one.

but that can kill your kidneys also.
 
With just the massive improvements in your physique in such a short time, I can only imagine. I'm trying not to end up in the same boat, but work and life don't seem to care that I'm doing a show!!
 
Been gone from the board here for awhile and just saw this Nuk...

Take care of yourself and get the rest you need!~ The boards are great but there's certainly more to life than the internet, no offense to anyone of course.

Sometimes you just gotta make a little time for yourself and your family (those that have them).
 
I hear that... 3 more freakin' weeks til the big stage. I have been having trouble sleeping for 2 weeks and I'm awake at 4am everyday whether it's a weekend or weekday. My body is just in hardcore "show mode", but I'm afraid to burn out... definitely a good idea to listen to your body and take the weekend off if you can. I'm sure you'll be back killin' it even harder after a relaxin couple days. The countdown to SC is officially ON... 22 days!!!
