Okay, it's a new exercise for me. Damn, this exercise is blowing up my lats. I've heard of the exercise before, but I never really thought about trying it until now. I wish I had done that earlier. Now if I could just find the same kind of "magic" exercise for my legs...

what poundage of weight do you use with it bro? I just watched a few vids on youtube but I'm wondering if I should use the same weight I use when i do tricep dips or should I go heavier?

yeah i used to love rack chins kinda forgot about them glad you mentioned them i think im gonna use them this week for sure.

I noticed some folks use a bench, and others (like this homo: ) use the wall. What are you doing to get your feet up? I'd feel weird putting my feet on the glass-I'd be worried I break it.

I dont see what so great about it....Just do regular chin ups. I see no difference in range of motion or muscles used in Rack Chins vs regular chin ups.

The last people I saw do this exercise were WOMEN in Airborne School because they could not do regular chin ups.

Yeah, it feels totally different than a normal pull up. You could play with the angle as well to hit a different part of your back.

Like others have said, it feels very different. From what I can tell, it's the angle involved. Think of the role the lats play in moving your arm. Its job is to move the arm down and back, thus the fan shape. The angle of this exercise seems to hit the whole range of motion.

I just started out doing this exercise, so the only extra weight I've used so far is only 25 lbs.
