SO today I had a good workout partner with me, he's 6' 4" 280 when he was younger he benched 500 for 2-- so he always gets me to do a little more weight.

So I warmed up and did this
55s for 12
70s for 10
100s for 10
than went heavier than I ever have with
120s for 8 clean =)
 
Yea, they are definitely easier on the shoulders, I just don't have anyone to spot me so I've not tried over 80s, but I may give 90s a try this week
 
5'9" 203-ish (just went up to 211 for a few days and started back down so im staying around that weight)
Havent measured arms in a little bit but left arm 18 1/2 and 18 for right arm (surgery arm from a little over a year ago)

Ch3no on your old pic you looked a little familiar, did you ever live around Melbourne?
 
Hell, I've only went up to 100s on flat bench, there's no way I'd try them on inclines lol. Maybe if I had someone help me on the first one to get them up I'd be alright, but I don't trust too many people. I'm the type of person that doesn't want you to touch the bar at all until the fucker is coming back down on me. If I'm slow to get the weight up, I don't want you touching it, but too many people are quick to grab the bar prematurely IMO
 
120's are big time on incline bro. 110's are as much as i've ever got clean reps on

its nice to hear considering I always think of my chest being way behind the rest of my upper body with strength and size
 
Good work, Metal. I was getting up to about 80's on incline, but started feeling a "pinch" in my right shoulder when I lowered them. So, I haven't gotten my weight back up on them recently.

do you do shoulder warm up exercises before chest?
 
i inclined 150's for 10 reps monday. i first started with flat bench press, my last working set was 315 for 12 reps, i super set flat bench with push ups. flat bench scares the shit out of me so i dont ever go heavier than 315 -335lb thats it.
 
120's! Nice bro! There must be something going around the forum cuz I got 100's on the incline for the first time yesterday! I got 8 clean reps but struggled like hell getting them up and into position for the first rep. I think I've got 110's in me but that first rep is the killer for me.

My workout partner got the 150s too for 10 on incline, he needs something heavier lol
