I need some advice guys. I havent been lifting for that long, and i dont really have any access to a gym. I have weights on little dumbells that i curl and lift and work my triceps and shoulders, and i do pushups and situps and i was wondering if that would be an ok subsitute to having a machine. Another question i have is...after i lift my arms are totally dead, but they dont stay like that for more than an hour, in like an hour after i lift, i could probably do another set or 2. is that a good idea??? thanks

what kind of exercises are you doin and how many set for your arms. Are you just talking about you by's

How old are you?

What exactly do you have at home?
What dumbells? What weights? How many?

What exactly are you doing for a routine?

Are you doing one or two sets of curls with some dumbells then walking away and coming back to them an hour later to do another?

Do you have a bench?

Throw down some more info for us. I'd love to help you out.

Also, after your workout, your arms might feel pumped, and that feeling does go away. That does not mean that your arms are ok and ready to lift weights again. You need at least 4-5 days rest in between if you are lifting lighter weights and 6-7 days if you lift heavy weights.

Just add some more information and I'll try to make you up a good starter routine with what you have at home :)

people should fill in their bio's in their profiles so we can help them better without all the stupid waste of time questions.

i probrably didn't need to write this post but i'm trying to get to 290 posts by the end of the day and i am running out of things to say.
