Mark Zuckerberg Looks Toned in MMA Training Session with UFC Champions

Business magnate Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder, and CEO of Facebook and Meta Platforms, is a social media pioneer and one of the richest men on the planet. Lately, he’s been growing his involvement in the world of combat sports, especially Brazilian jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts. In a recent post made on Instagram, Zuckerberg looked toned while training MMA with UFC champions Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski.
Mark Zuckerberg rose to prominence after launching Facebook from the dorms of Harvard University in Feb. 2004. The website proved to be a massive hit and turned Zuckerberg into the world’s youngest self-made billionaire at the age of 23 three years after the launch. In 2012, the platform became the first of its kind to amass a billion users. Zuckerberg capitalized on the success by introducing and buying other massively popular channels such as Instagram.
In Aug. 2022, Zuckerberg opened up on his passion for training BJJ to UFC color commentator Joe Rogan. Other than grappling, he also revealed his affinity for training in MMA with an impressive training update under coach Khai Wu. Zack’s growing presence in the MMA community led fans to speculate about whether he really enjoyed the sport or was simply putting up a charade.
During the build-up to UFC Vegas 61, women’s strawweight fighter Mackenzie Dern claimed Zuckerberg rented out the event. Company president Dana White dismissed the claims but Zuckerberg was in attendance for the unusually private event. Then, he partnered with UFC to offer fans the opportunity to watch events through Meta’s virtual reality on Fight Pass.

In a recent Instagram post, Mark Zuckerberg looked toned while training in MMA with UFC champions Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski.
“No fugazi with Mark,” wrote Adesanya. “This is Serious Business.”

Mark Zuckerberg previously teamed up with Volkanovski for a virtual fight to show off his company’s VR offering earlier this year.
Two months ago, Zuckerberg left the fans stunned by scoring gold and silver medals in his first-ever BJJ tournament contest. Following the outcome, he credited the sport for helping his mental health and providing an outlet for his competitive nature. He even joined forces with prolific grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci for a BJJ training session last month.
Zuckerberg took on the grueling workout circuit called the ‘Murph challenge’ to celebrate Memorial Day last month. The brutal routine consists of two miles of running, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, and 300 squats with a 20-pound vest on at all times.

Zuck got involved in a raging online feud with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the richest man in the world weeks ago. Musk proposed the idea of facing Zuckerberg in a hand-to-hand combat format on Twitter. Zuck fired back with equal force accepting the challenge using the line from legendary MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov’s famous callout of former UFC champion Conor McGregor. The idea seemed outlandish at first but White later confirmed talks were serious and a showdown between Zuck and Musk could take place.
Whether he ends up fighting Musk or not, Mark Zuckerberg will have surely improved his fighting abilities inside the octagon considering the caliber of his training partners.

Joey Swoll Prompts Gym to Step In for Special Needs Man Targeted in ‘Very Disturbing’ Video

Joey Swoll Prompts Gym to Step In for Special Needs Man Targeted in ‘Very Disturbing’ Video

Social media fitness influencer Joey Swoll has carved his own space in the industry with his gym-positivity brand. He’s not afraid to call out poor gym etiquette, whether it be while working on machines or invading others’ space by recording irresponsibly. In a recent post made on Instagram, Swoll implored Planet Fitness to step in after a special needs gym member got targeted in a disturbing locker room video.
Joey Swoll is leading the charge against the rise in toxic gym culture stemming from the growth of social media platforms such as TikTok, where the content that goes viral isn’t necessarily healthy. Many aspiring influencers take to the short-form video channel in hopes of amassing fame and fortune with all different kinds of content. However, there comes a point where it no longer seems appropriate in the training room.
A female TikToker named Jessica Hernandez made headlines after hurling insults at a man who glanced in her direction earlier this year. Swoll bashed Hernandez for twisting the situation out of context and going as far as to say that he should die for being a pervert when he actually offered to help her set up the weights on the barbell. Hernandez realized her mistake after the call-out and issued an apology message crediting Swoll and his fanbase for the wake-up call.
Bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger took notice of Swoll’s positive movement and joined forces with him for promoting the mission of making gyms a safe space for everyone five months ago.
IFBB Pro bodybuilder Mark Hunter Jr. recorded his experience of facing a hostile gym worker who falsely thought he did not re-rack the weights properly months ago. Swoll rebuked the employee for treating Hunter Jr. rudely and canceling his membership based on a misunderstanding.
Two months ago, Joey Swoll took issue with Chelsea soccer player Mykhailo Mudryk for making fun of a man whose pants dropped while working out. He called on Mudryk to reflect on his actions and work on setting a better example as a professional athlete.
Swoll criticized a female TikToker for improperly recording a fellow male gym-goer without his consent in between sets last month. He argued not everyone feels comfortable being recorded in the gym and urged her to be more considerate of others next time.

Joey Swoll Implores Gym to Step In for Special Needs Man Targeted in a ‘Very Disturbing’ Video
In a recent Instagram post, Joey Swoll requested Planet Fitness to do something after he found a video of a special-needs man getting mocked in the gym’s locker room.
“Today I was sent a very disturbing video of someone filming a special needs man in the gym locker room to post on social media and make fun of him. I’m not going to share the video. Instead, I sent it to @PlanetFitness in hopes they do the right thing and take appropriate action.”
“It’s very sad what people will do to others just for attention on social media,” he captioned.

Joey Swoll voiced his disapproval of a woman who refused to share machines while performing supersets over two weeks ago. He reproached her for rudely slamming a man who tried to use one of the four machines she was hogging and encouraged her to work on her gym etiquette.
Swoll put social media influencers on blast for getting upset over people walking in the frame of their videos working out earlier this week. He argued such an expectation can’t be set while training at public gyms and called on her to get a private gym instead.
His latest message takes his movement a step forward in making gyms a positive and welcoming space for everyone.

Hulk Hogan Talks Diet, Fitness Goals And Gives Life Advise: “Be Consistent”

Hulk Hogan Talks Diet, Fitness Goals And Gives Life Advise: “Be Consistent”

Pro wrestling legend Hulk Hogan is one of the most famous wrestlers from the 1980s era as well as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. After starting his professional wrestling career in 1977, Hogan continued to entertain the fans for nearly 40 years and became a well-recognized figure not just in the USA but across the globe.
Hulk Hogan’s big break came in  1983 when he joined WWF (now known as the WWE) and became a fan favorite due to his wrestling skills as well as his charming personality. Over the course of his career, the 69-year-old competed under several banners like the WWE/WWF, NJPW, AWA, and WCW. He also tried his hand at acting and other forms of entertainment after stepping away from pro wrestling for a brief period of time.
However, Hulk Hogan did his best work in the pro-wrestling world until his retirement in 2012. By the time he called it a career, the wear and tear of the pro wrestling career had caught up with the legendary bodybuilder who had to undergo several surgeries to fix the issues.
So severe was the damage that fellow pro wrestling legend Kurt Angle stated that Hogan ‘can no longer feel his lower body’ after back surgeries. However, Hogan significantly downsized a couple of years ago to reduce the strain on his joints.
He is doing exceptionally well considering the accumulation of damage. Recently, Hulk Hogan shared a glimpse of his everyday life and gave a tour of his kitchen and gym for a video interview with Men’s Health magazine.

Hulk Hogan shares his diet and workout routine
Hogan first took the viewers to show what was inside his fridge. The contents are all organic without exception. Nut milk, berries, yogurts, and protein shakes sit proudly in the 69-year-old’s fridge. Hulk Hogan spoke candidly about the dietary habits of his fellow pro-wrestlers while showing the fridge. He said:
“People didn’t talk about protein back in the day as much as they do now. Back in the hardcore wrestling days, people talked about the money and the miles… And who could drink the most beer!”
Turns out that people were far more fun-loving than they are today. But that being said, Hulk Hogan did not give a pass to a protein-rich diet even in those days.
“I would start out and I would eat 12 fried eggs in the morning, two hamburger patties, oatmeal and everything would have butter on it because at the time my engine was burning so fast. I was wrestling like 400 times a year.”
The hectic schedule meant extensive traveling – driving through the country, flying – caring on with insufficient sleep. So to fuel his activities and keep entertaining the fans, Hogan ate a whole lot of protein.
“It wasn’t hard to maintain that type of diet because you can go to any Denny’s or iHop and get that type of food,” Hogan said about the protein-rich yet non-restrictive diet.

The legendary wrestler admits that he was not quite educated about proper dietary practices. This shortcoming best reflects in Hulk Hogan’s pre-match meals which consisted of three Miller Lites and two Tylenol. If that sounds too much, the post-match meal went above and beyond.
“The post-match meal was probably 12 Miller Lites. That’s how it was,” Hogan stated.
All of that is now in the past and Hogan has completely given up alcohol and Tylenol. All he drinks is pure and clean water.
Hulk Hogan’s diet now
Hulk Hogan’s recent body transformation did not go unnoticed as he lost nearly 40 lbs in body weight. A number of factors contributed to his decision to shed those pounds. The extreme wear and tear of pro wrestling took its toll on the legend as he has pushed through several major injuries throughout his 40-year-long career. Most notably, Hogan’s famous body slam on Andre the Giant and Wrestlemania III tore both his biceps and back muscles. Coupled with a number of other issues, mostly related to bones and joints, tightened their noose around him around 15 years back.
“I went for a back surgery and it turned into ten back surgeries. Both knees were replaced, both hips were replaced. A couple of surgeries on my face from getting my orbital socket broken a couple of times…” Hogan explained.

The impact of growing age and all the surgeries reduced Hogan’s ability to carry a lot of weight and he made some crucial changes to his lifestyle. As a result of the weight loss, Hogan can carry on with life a lot better. He has quit sugar completely as it induced inflammation in his joints. His diet is pretty simple and it includes:
Breakfast

1 Cup yogurt
Banana
Organic Coffee

Lunch and Dinner

Chicken or Steak or Raw Tuna or Sashimi

Snacks

Organic Cookies

Supplements

He takes several supplements to maintain fitness and also feels that CBD oil is far better than some medications.

Desserts Cheat Meals

Dairy-free ice creams, cookies, and a lot more!

Hulk Hogan’s home gym and training routine
Although downsized, Hulk Hogan is still among the higher echelons of people when it comes to fitness level. After all, how many 69-year-olds look as energetic as the legendary wrestler? Like most of us, Hogan also has fitness goals that he is working towards. As explained by him:
“Well, I’m going to be 70 years old in August and my fitness goal is when I walk down the beach with my girl Kye and my shirt’s off, I look better than the 30 or 35 years old guy that’s walking down the beach like the c**k of the walk. I wanna make sure that I look better than all these other guys around here.”
To achieve this goal, he has formulated a training plan that best suits his capacity. Hulk Hogan’s weekly training split includes:

Monday – Chest and back workout
Tuesday – Cardio, shoulder, and abs workout
Wednesday – Arms workout
Thursday – Leg workout

Back when he was active professionally, Hulk Hogan had a massive gym at his home. Considering the amount of damage he has endured throughout the 40 years long career, machines are a better choice as they considerably reduce the strain on joints compared to free weights. As a result, Hogan has scaled the gym down in line with his fitness goals. A Strive exercise machine is the favorite piece of gym equipment Hogan possesses.

Hulk Hogan’s Advice to his fans
Hulk Hogan has seen life in a totally different light as a result of his profession and public stature. Therefore, he gathered a vast number of life experiences. When asked about the one piece of advice he would like to give, Hogan said:
“To be consistent. That’s the best piece of information I’ve ever learned.”
Like most of us, Hulk Hogan is also a big admirer of bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger. He used Arnold’s wisdom to elaborate more on his advice to be consistent and said:
“Arnold says something very very important I picked up one time. He said, ‘even if you don’t feel good, even if you don’t feel like training, still go to the gym anyway. Pick some lighter weights up. You’ll get motivated before you know it and you’ll be in your rhythm and you’ll get a good workout.”

Hogan says maintaining good mental health is a bit of a struggle for him because of his ‘legitimately crazy’ nature. But jokes apart! The real secret behind Hulk Hogan maintaining good mental health is being grateful. Additionally, he advises keeping a forward-looking approach in life to maintain sanity.
“It’s looking forward in the windshield instead of worrying about what’s in the rearview mirror now. That’s the only thing that keeps me sane because if I digress and I start worrying about this happened and that happened and this person’s gone or that person’s gone… Things happen for a reason. So for me to stay focused and dialed in, I stay in the moment and that seems to work well.”
Hulk Hogan has endured a lot of pain to entertain hundreds of millions of pro wrestling fans around the world. Now that he has been able to fix a lot of issues and leads a healthy life, Fitness Volt wishes him all the best in achieving his fitness goals.

Not only can he lift heavy weights, but he also combines them with challenging cardio workouts. In a recent post made on Instagram, Crawley smashed a huge 500-pound deadlift and ran 5 kilometers in less than 20 minutes.
Most fitness enthusiasts find inspiration from their favorite athletes and eventually decide to pursue an area of their interest whether it be strength, cardio, endurance, or bodybuilding. Former US Navy Seal David Goggins carved out his own space in the fitness community with his ironclad mind and crazy achievements in long-distance running. His friend Cameron Hanes is another popular figure known for his intense training methods, long-distance running, and bowhunting activities.
Scottish athlete Fergus Crawley falls under a similar category of high-performing individuals. He started out as a powerlifter with impressive wins on the regional circuit, including at the 2015 World Championships and 2016 European Championships. He decided to move on from professional competition and became a hybrid athlete to test his limits. He stands as one of only two men to have performed 500-lb squats and completed a sub-5-minute-mile on the same day.

In July 2020, Crawley challenged himself to the brutal task of running a mile in under five minutes, squatting 501 pounds, and running a marathon in a single day. He started off with the squat and later recorded a 43.9km (27.28 miles) run in five hours.
Crawley took on the insane 1200Twelve Challenge, where he lifted over 1,200 pounds combined on all three powerlifting lifts and completed The Outlaw Ironman Triathlon in under 12 hours in July 2021.

Fans shared their reactions to his unreal feat in the comments.
“You should do a thousand pound deadlift and run a sub 3hr marathon next,” commented a user.
“This is wildly impressive! People who haven’t lifted that much or ran that pace have no idea how hard this is! Great work!” wrote another.
“Damn, that’s impressive.”
“Jheeze. Inspo right there”
“THE HYBRID ?”
“What a fucking animal”
“Gotta step my game up.”

With fitness a number one priority for many right now, running has become a go-to activity. However, some social media personalities bite off more than they can chew. This was the case for YouTuber Tom Morley who attempted to run a 5K for 30 days straight. Unfortunately, on day 22, he broke his leg and had to suspend the challenge. He reported losing nine pounds as a result of the change in lifestyle.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Son Joseph Baena Flexes His Bulging Biceps and Sculpted Legs at Iconic Gold’s Gym

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Son Joseph Baena Flexes His Bulging Biceps and Sculpted Legs at Iconic Gold’s Gym

Legendary bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Joseph Baena is carving his own path in fitness and entertainment. He followed in his father’s footsteps and explored his passion for working out although he doesn’t compete professionally. In a recent post made on Instagram, Baena looked massive while hitting a classic bodybuilding pose, the front double bicep.
Arnold Schwarzenegger pioneered the IFBB Men’s Open division during his days of competing on stage in the 1970s. He displayed a stellar blend of muscle mass, size, and symmetry and racked up seven Mr. Olympia titles against the likes of fellow legends Franco Columbu, Lou Ferrigno, and Sergio Oliva.
Besides his athletic talents, Schwarzenegger became renowned for his acting abilities. He showcased his charismatic personality and witty nature in the 1977 docudrama Pumping Iron and endeared himself to the fans. Following his retirement, Schwarzenegger found success as a certified action star with several blockbuster projects under his belt.
Joseph Baena made headlines for his insane resemblance to Schwarzenegger after he recreated some of his father’s classic bodybuilding poses in Aug. 2022. The Internet was left stunned by the uncanny resemblance between the two as Baena performed the famous back pose. Then, he opened up about the struggles that come along with being Schwarzenegger’s son. While the comparisons were tough in the beginning, Baena learned to focus on crafting his own path.
Baena teamed up with fitness sensation Mike O’Hearn for a brutal arms workout last August. The bodybuilding veteran exchanged some techniques with Baena, including their favorite supersets to build muscle in the arms. The duo reconnected for an ‘old-school’ training session targeting back for enhanced longevity days later.
In Sep. 2022, Baena provided the grueling shoulder workout he utilized to get ready for his debut in the reality dance competition show Dancing With The Stars. He enlisted the help of bodybuilding veteran Robby Robinson and O’Hearn to refine his posing skills weeks later.
Joseph Baena channeled the spirit of his father’s iconic role by recreating the iconic look from Conan the Barbarian (1982) last October. He donned a leather kilt and flexed his muscles through a series of poses. After being on the show for six weeks, Baena revealed he shed 10 pounds in a lean physique update.

In a recent Instagram post, Joseph Baena showed off his impressive physique while performing the front double bicep.

Earlier this year, Joseph Baena opened up on his ambitions to play the role of a superhero. He expressed his desire to lead a hit franchise film like The Terminator and hinted at steering away from Mr. Olympia. He followed up with a fierce pull-day workout to build mass and strength.
Baena offered an intense workout challenge to test endurance in a shredded physique update last month. Based on the latest update, Baena is staying consistent with his workouts and keeping up his fitness game.

Liver King Looks Crazy Shredded after Claiming to be Natty for 171 Days

Internet sensation Liver King, real name Brian Johnson, had a meteoric rise to stardom for living an ‘ancestral lifestyle’ over the last two years. Although he denied ever taking gear, he got exposed for using steroids months ago. In a recent story made on Instagram, Johnson looked crazy shredded in a physique update claiming to be natural for 171 days.
Liver King carved out his own space in the social media fitness community with his freakishly muscular physique, intense workouts, and consuming copious amounts of raw meat and organs, including kidney, liver, bone marrow, and bull testicles. He promotes a natural way of living based on the nine ancestral tenets. Given his jacked stature, Johnson drew a lot of speculation about whether he used steroids.
Johnson pushed back on the PED allegations and denied taking gear in numerous media appearances. Last year, Derek of More Plates More Dates exposed Johnson’s lie by presenting screenshots of a leaked email showing his alleged steroid cycle and bloodwork. Johnson came clean about misrepresenting his natural status and confessed to misleading his audience in an apology message last December.

Following the reveal, many of Johnson’s supporters voiced their disapproval and shock at finding out the truth. UFC color commentator Joe Rogan, on the other hand, was not the least bit surprised as he’d been certain Johnson was using a gimmick to gain fame.
Liver King’s ex-coach ‘Vigorous Steve’ fired shots at his former client after the exposé. He opened up on his experiences working with Johnson and admitted he should’ve come forward with the evidence against the influencer sooner. Derek was also suspicious of Johnson’s apology and hinted that the story may not be over yet.
The 45-year-old committed to changing his ways and claimed to have gone natural towards the end of last year. Since he had been taking large doses of steroids, he slowly tapered down. In Dec. 2022, a man from New York filed a $25 million lawsuit against Liver King and his supplement companies for deceiving customers into buying his products by falsely presenting his enhanced physique as a result of his lifestyle.
Liver King claimed he quit steroids for a week and revealed he dropped down to 188 pounds after fasting for 42 hours earlier this year. He looked significantly downsized but still boasted an impressive muscular frame. Then, Johnson showed off his shredded physique after being ‘natty af’ for 58 days three months ago.

In a recent Instagram story, Liver King looked crazy ripped after claiming to have been natural for 171 days.

Liver King followed in the footsteps of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson by binging on a massive cheat day two months ago. He went through huge amounts of junk food like pizza, sandwiches, and fried desserts to match the level of The Rock’s epic cheat meals.

While it’s unclear if Johnson is still using PEDs, many fans are skeptical given his shredded, vascular, and peeled body. Despite his polarizing nature, he remains one of the most talked about influencers in the industry.

Running is an effective way to get some exercise in, lose weight, and level up your fitness game. Although many people tend to use some form of cardio in training, running often gets a bad rap in bodybuilding. In a recent YouTube video, fitness influencer Tom Morley shared results after he took on the challenge of running 5 kilometers for 30 days straight.
When it comes to bodybuilding, weight training usually takes priority over everything else as it helps build muscle through resistance and hypertrophy. Cardio is another essential element of most training programs to ensure progress and gains.
From brisk walking to high-intensity interval training (HIIT), there are several ways of doing cardio based on your needs. Regular cardio training may help boost fat loss and strengthen heart health. Since it helps burn calories, there’s a fear of losing muscle among those looking to pack on the pounds. While many practice low-intensity cardio, other more challenging forms like running often get neglected due to similar concerns.
In Aug. 2022, social media sensations Buff Dudes embarked on a mission to run 10k every day for 30 days in a row. The brothers did not change their weight training regimen and simply added cardio workouts on top of their usual sessions. By the time the 30 days were over, the duo reported positive results and lost a pound each. They disproved the myth that running would cut down muscle mass and instead showed how it benefits health.

Timing your cardio sessions are another hot topic. Doing cardio in a fasted state has gained a ton of popularity for its fat-burning benefits over the last few years. Bodybuilder Hunter Labrada argued that fasted cardio is not optimal and recommends doing it post-workout to maximize the results while in prep for contests.
Legendary bodybuilder Jay Cutler gave his take on the best ways to do cardio earlier this month. He encouraged his fans to incorporate cardio sessions either first thing in the morning or after weight training. He also stressed the importance of prioritizing training above all else.

Man Shows results of running 5k for 30 days straight
In a recent YouTube video, Tom Morley shared his experience of running 5 kilometers every day for 30 days in a row.
He clocked in at 33 minutes on the first day. His performance continued to decline due to his body experiencing more stress and pain. Eventually, he got used to it and recorded a new PR of 28:02 in his third week. However, he was forced to quit the challenge after suffering a broken leg.
Having done the routine for 22 days, Morley reported losing nine pounds and improving by about five minutes. He did not get the chance to complete the challenge this time but will attempt again once he’s recovered fully from the broken leg.
“I know it’s going to be a hard challenge, and I know I’m gonna want to quit at times, but if I can give it my all, if I can throw everything into this, I really think I can do it,” he continued. “Unfortunately, getting a bit slower each day was the pattern for about a week. The pain just got so bad in my calves and my knees obviously because I hadn’t been doing this level of intensity interns of cardio probably ever. My legs were starting to struggle with that.”
“It’s just so annoying when you try so hard and put so much time and so much energy into something and then something like this happens and it completely kills it.”
Morley’s detailed account of running every day will educate fitness enthusiasts on what they can expect if they try it out for themselves. While he initially intended to make the run for 30 days straight, an injury sidelined him for the time being. Nevertheless, the results of just 22 days is quite impressive.
