Leg Training tonight (11-16-2010)

Decided I wanted to do some high rep leg training tonight so, this is what I did...

Leg press (hammer strengh) - 270 x 20, 450 x 25, 810 x 25, 900 x 55

Notes - counted only plates as weight, I think the hammer leg press, is about 200lbs itself...For the final set, I did 35 reps in a row, then gave myself a 10-15 second breather, and continued on for the final 20 reps...so I guess you can say it was a rest pause set...

Lunges on the smythe machine - 90 x 15, 140 x 15 x 15 x 15

Notes - counted plates only, these are done one leg at a time, doing right leg first then my left...rested only about 45-60 seconds in between sets...very fast pace...

Leg Extensions (paramount) - 70 x 20, 100 x 20, 130 x 20

Notes - held last rep on each set at the top of the movement...very little rest again...

Then went to do standing calf raises, and calf presses....3 sets each, 20-25 reps...

it was a very fast pace workout, even the presses, I went fast...didnt use alot of weight, but the pace of the workout, with higher reps really did me in...Probably shouldve did a fourth movement for quads, maybe hacks, or smythe squats, but by the end of extensions I was beat...:drooling:

yeah after the presses, I felt like I couldve been done...but Sarah, kept pushing me to do more...She is a volume, and high rep freak.... :satan:
