Beginning my bulk

Hey guys I've decided to start my bulk now and will be beginning tomorrow. I"ll be turning 19 next month and my stats are 6'2" 230 bf 14% (I used a caplier and know that my bf is lower then 14% and most likely ended up with 14% because I just recently lost 20 lbs. and have a lot of excess skin that gave me a higher bf than I actually have.) This will be my first real bulk where I go into it with knowledge about what to do and not just hoping to see results from nothing. For supplements I'll be using O.N. Whey Protein, Muscle Pharm Assault, Orange Tiad Multi-Vitamin, and NSI BCAA's. I'm looking to get 345 grams of protein daily, 460 grams of carbs, and not really sure about fat intake along with around 4000 calories. I gain weight fairly easy and will be incorporating hiit cardio if I begin to gain weight too quickly. I just wanted to make this thread to help me stay motivated throughout this bulk and to learn along the way. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
 
is this a natural bulk, or are u using gear also? and yeah bro keep this thread as your journal its a great way to stay motivated cause if ur not posting in here then we know ur ass is slacking lol

Yea it's a natural bulk. I wanted to use some gear but I'm too young so I'll wait until I am old enough. Turns out though that the store I bought my supplements from don't have the Muscle Pharm Assault in stock so I'll have to use something else. If anyone could recommend a preworkout supplement that they really loved I would greatly appreciate it.

You sound like a smart young man.. I would wait on the gear.. You are still young so you can grow without it bro.. As for pre workout supps.. there are some good ones out there.. I'm taking Hemo Rage now and I like it alot !! Good luck on your bulk cycle ..

Thanks man yea I'll probably wait until I'm at least 26 years old before using gear. I'll look into Hemo Rage because I really need something otherwise I'll never be able to make it through my workout.

Damn brutha, Not too many guys smart enough to wait like yourself! Its actualy refreshing and goes to show that maybe the information age with all these forums ect is paying off in educating guys and especialy the younger guys!

I didnt start til I was around 24 yrs old and worked out religeously and naturaly until i felt i could use gear smartly, however back then their wasnt much info like today so i wish i knew then what i know now

anyways smart man

Thanks man yea even though it's difficult not to it's not worth it at my age. I've got enough test running through my body and will still have great results by having a good diet and busting my ass in the gym.

For a preworkout, the best I've found so far is NO Shotgun. I had a couple of different people tell me it was the best supplement they'd ever used, so I tried it and loved it.

Also, be sure to check out the IGF reviews on this site. I'm using it as part of my current bulking cycle and I love it.

Will IGF be alright to take even at my age? I also forgot to mention that I'm taking O.N. Creatine also and was wondering how much I should be taking daily because some sites I've seen recommend up to 40 grams daily and I'm not sure if this is right because it sounds wrong.

I actually got the assault issue resolved today and it has been shipped. Also could someone please answer the ? I had earlier about the creatine and IGF?
 
I cant answer your igf question cause I'm 26 and just started on it. As for your creatine intake 40 grams seem alot, if you chose to do that I would run that for about a week or two then lower it to about 15 or 20 grams. Just make sure when you take 40 grams to have a really high intake of water. Thats what I would do.

Weekly Update: It's been a week now and I've gained 10lbs and have noticed a huge difference in energy in the gym. I'm not as tired near the end of my workout and I can give it all I got. I've also been getting extreme pumps especially for my biceps and chest hopefully this means I'm growing. Most of my carbs have been from sweet potatoes, oatmeal, wheat bread, and brown rice. My plans for now are to continue and hopefully win the video contest MC is having so I can get me some IGF. :D
 
Weekly Update: It's now the end of my second week and time for another update. I gained 10lbs my first week but my second week came to a screeching halt and I haven't gained any weight since. I think i'm still not getting enough calories so I will be adding another meal to get the extra calories needed. I've also got some of MC's IGF on it's way and will be using it preworkout when it comes in. I still haven't decided on a set dosage yet but I would like to do 40 mcg onto each of the bodyparts I work that day. For example today I will work chest and biceps so I would like to do 20mcg onto each pec and each bicep. Is this too much to start off with or will I be fine with this dosage?

My preworkout is Explosion by PN and MC IGF and I've had GREAT results from it. I'm sure you'd like that combo along with Amino Infusion by PN for an amino during your workout
 
5 Week Update: Hey guys it's been a while since I've been up here and since I've got the time now I figured I'd do a little update of my progress. I'm back in college now and busy as can be but everything looks good so far. I made sure that my classes are split throughout the day so I can still get my 6 meals in. I've also been taking igf and this is my third week on it and all I can say is I LOVE THIS STUFF. I've gained an inch on my arms and couldn't be happier with the results. I bounce around from 245-250lbs and would say I'm now about 15-16%bf and getting to where I would like to start cutting. So my plan is to start cutting next week and pick back up with the igf in 3 weeks and possibly some of cyber supplementz stuff. the question now is what should my diet look like? %protein, carbs, fats ? I will be throwing in some cardio slowly and work my way up. My goal is to get down to 220 and decide where to go from their.
