Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Gifts a New House to UFC Fighter After Relating to His Story

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Gifts a New House to UFC Fighter After Relating to His Story

In a world where fame and fortune are often the criteria to measure growth and success, there are people who use their status to help bring a positive image to society. Fitness enthusiast and Hollywood star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson recently exhibited the same by gifting a new house to UFC fighter Thema Gorimbo and his family. The gesture goes far beyond the glitz and glamor of celebrities, with Johnson proving to be a beacon of hope for Gorimbo who used to sleep on a couch in his gym.
The story behind Gorimbo’s philanthropy
Gorimbo’s village faced a water shortage, leaving him torn between helping his community and limited finances. He chose to auction his training kit, using the funds to enhance his village’s access to vital resources. Sharing his heartfelt story, Gorimbo revealed that before his triumphant victory against Takashi Sato at UFC Vegas 73, he had only seven dollars left in his bank account. Remarkably, instead of splurging on himself, he chose to use his substantial paycheck to build a borehole in his village, where access to water was a pressing challenge for his community.

This is f’n crazy to see and brings back many emotions and memories. $7.49 in this fighter’s bank account. I once had $7 bucks too. I’ve been there on that grind. Got your back, brother. I’ll help. You got this. I’ll be in touch @TheAnswerMMA #hardestworkersintheroom https://t.co/C2gn1j7OQF
— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) June 10, 2023

Moved by his story, ‘The Rock’ contacted Thema via Twitter and ensured that the UFC fighter can rely on him for help. Later, a surprise meeting between Johnson and Gorimbo was arranged by Johnson’s team in Miami.
“When I found out you had $7 in your bank account, I know what that’s like. I was here in Miami when I had $7…Because you could have taken that money and put it down on a car, on an apartment, but you didn’t. You took care of your people, and that just says exactly who you are…I got your back,” Dwayne Johnson said to Thema during their first meeting ever.

The duo took a drive later to a property based in Miami, where Johnson handed over the keys to Thema and provided him a break from sleeping on his gym couch.
“I wanted to look you in the eye and I wanted to tell you welcome home,” Johnson said as he gifted Gorimbo a new place to stay with his family.
The tale of Johnson and Gorimbo highlights the significance of using one’s privilege to make a positive impact on others’ lives. They inspire a shift toward a more empathetic and caring society.  Adding to this, Thema shared his plans to use his upcoming fight earnings to contribute towards the construction of another well in his village.

“Because you got me this house, I was supposed to get a house to come here,” Gorimbo explained. “The money that I was going to use for the house, I’m going to build another borehole in my village now when I land in Africa.”
As Gorimbo continues his fight to become a UFC champion one day, his story stands as a testament to triumph over adversity.

Joey Swoll Calls Out Man for Breaking Shirtless Gym Rules: ‘If You Can’t Respect the Staff, Stay Home’

Joey Swoll Calls Out Man for Breaking Shirtless Gym Rules: ‘If You Can’t Respect the Staff, Stay Home’

Joey Swoll is back once again in an effort to correct ‘toxic gym culture.’ This time, Swoll took to Twitter to call out a man who blatantly ignored gym rules and worked out without a shirt after a staff member politely asked him to wear one.
Influencer Joey Swoll is a well-known figure in the fitness industry who has been challenging ‘toxic gym culture’ or what people commonly refer to as poor gym etiquette. He stands up for people who face cruel attacks, harassment, and bullying. His ultimate goal is to make gyms and fitness centers more inclusive and supportive spaces.
These hostile gym encounters are all too common nowadays and with the prevalence of social media, they are often caught on camera, making Swoll a busy man. The last time Swoll got involved, he fired shots at a woman using the Stairmaster who gloated about moving faster than the person next to her. Swoll took it upon himself to defend the other gym-goer. Despite her pace, she was at the gym trying to better herself, which is something Swoll believes should never be looked down on.

In his latest video stitch, Swoll took issue with a man who broke his gym’s rules by working out without a shirt. After he was confronted by gym staff, he complied. However, as soon as she left, he took his shirt back off and continued on the treadmill. The man in the video mentioned that he was told to put a shirt on because he was making others feel insecure but Swoll isn’t buying his story.
“Respect the Rules of the Gym & Staff When They Enforce Them” Joey Swoll Unloads on Disrespectful Gym-Goer

Swoll doesn’t believe the man was told by gym staff that he was making others feel insecure. Despite the gym staffer’s courteous warning, Swoll underlined that the man still arrogantly disobeyed the rules.
“You know I’m not the best lip reader, but I’ll bet that she didn’t tell you to put your shirt on because you make other people feel insecure. There’s literally nobody even looking at you in this video. She told you to put your shirt on because those are the rules of the gym. Everybody has to wear a shirt, including you. And she told you because she’s an employee of the gym, she works there, she’s enforcing the rules, that’s her job.
And she’s very nice about it. She’s respectful, she tells you, she smiles, and she walks away. And what do you do? You take your shirt off anyway. You act like you’re better than everybody else just to make this video so you can get some likes and attention on social media. Really? I’m sorry. You don’t own the gym. If you can’t respect staff, if you can’t respect the rules of the gym, stay home or build your own. Until then, you need to do better. Mind your own business,” Swoll shared.
Even though Swoll has worked hard to make gyms more welcoming, he continues to encounter problem after problem. Earlier this month, Swoll contacted Planet Fitness after multiple men in a locker room harassed and bullied a special needs person.

Swoll hasn’t let up on his goal to make gyms better for everyone. Former seven-time Mr. Olympia and bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger took notice of his movement and extended his support for Swoll’s mission. Given how often these unfortunate situations arise, Swoll hopes to see more people respect the rules and staff present at gyms in the future.

Fitness Influencer Alex Eubank Talks Hospitalization After 48-Hr Fast Gone Wrong, ‘Felt Like I Was Dead’

Fitness Influencer Alex Eubank Talks Hospitalization After 48-Hr Fast Gone Wrong, ‘Felt Like I Was Dead’

Fitness star Alex Eubank embarked on a 48-hour fast but encountered some troubling issues halfway through. In a YouTube video, Eubank described the events that led to his recent hospitalization. Unsure of what caused the episode, Eubank believes it might have been an anxiety attack worsened by a lack of food.

“They put me in a stretcher, I got to the point, on everything I love, this is the craziest thing, I told myself it got so bad where I couldn’t feel any part of my body. I feel like my body was shutting down,” Alex Eubank shared.

Eubank is a sensation in the fitness industry who built his name with a shredded physique and engaging online content. Despite his young age of 23, he remains one of the most talked about influencers of 2023. Losing weight and staying fit are top priorities for Eubank. He thought it would be wise to cleanse his body with a water/tea/coffee-only fast before committing 100% to his bulking efforts.

Intermittent fasting is a commonly used strategy for weight loss that involves abstaining from food for an extended duration of time. The effectiveness of this diet stems from its ability to let you consume larger portions, which can help with the sensation of fullness, an essential factor for weight loss.
“I Accepted The Fact That Death Was Coming” – Alex Eubank Breaks Down Fasting Health Scare
Eubank checked in with fans before starting the 48-hour fast.
“Alright, so this is the start of my 48-hour fast. I’m doing this for religious reasons,” said Eubank. “It’s going to be a lot of water. Everybody is asking me why I’m fasting when I just started my bulk. I literally just started the bulk. I had the fattest meal last night.”
A day into his fast, Eubank said he began to feel numbness in his lips. Progressively, Alex felt worse at the movie theatres and went to the emergency room.
“I feel like I can’t open my right eyeball all the way, remember when I kept saying I couldn’t feel my feet. That was like the beginning of it for sure because I’ve never had that happen before. I remember I started feeling the numbness and I started feeling my lip.”
“There was a dude that came up to me and wanted a picture when I was like mid-passed out. I tried to just and I tried to call my dad. Tried to fix it by walking around, and standing up was the worst thing I could have done. Because I just went full freak-out mode. My signature, when they told me to write, I was like bro what? What’s crazy about the whole thing is my mind was completely 100% aware of what was happening but I could not control my body at all. I thought I was dying. The moment where everything got hella numb, I felt like I was dead or just a few seconds away from dying,” said Eubank.
After getting his heart checked, Eubank was convinced it was a panic attack exacerbated by a lack of food.

“So we ended the fast, we did about 24 hours basically had… I’m going to be doing a heart stress test here soon. Getting my heart checked out. We’ll be getting blood work again, making sure that I’m all good. But basically, I’m pretty sure, 99% sure, it’s just anxiety. I had a mean panic attack and I think it was amplified due to the fact that I had no food in me for 24 hours which I’ve never done before. I have a pretty high metabolism and you guys know I tend to eat a lot.”
“I tend to get pretty hypoglycemic pretty quick,” added Eubank. “At the beginning of the Barbie movie, my feet and hands were getting cold. You know how people who have low iron whatever had cold hands and feet. Usually, I’m very hot.”
“I was just trying to ride the wave how I usually do [with panic attacks] and just get through it. Then it started to get my hands, my, my arms, my legs, my stomach, my back, my chest, everything started to get numb. The way I would explain it – the only place I felt anything was – my face was numb – keeping my center of my chest where my heart was that’s the only thing that didn’t feel numb. I couldn’t move. ”
Looking back, Alex Eubank explained that the situation was so dire he thought he might die.

“I could barely even speak. Called 911 basically, had them send an ambulance because I’ve never had this happen,” said Eubank. “I’ve never had this happen before. Usually, I always fight it off but when it got to the point I can barely even speak words, I couldn’t move anything, I would try to move my hand and they were stuck.”
“I accepted the fact that death was coming.”

Fans have taken notice of bodybuilders and now influencers dying at a young age. ‘Leo Longevity’ passed away at 34 in Thailand after mysterious circumstances in Jan. A month ago, Jo Lindner died at just 30 years old, paving the way for discussions about the dangers of low body fat percentages. While an autopsy report has yet to be released, others have speculated that COVID-19 vaccines, steroids, or Rippling muscle disease could be the reason he died. In light of the trend, most in the fitness community are on high alert.
As for Eubank, fortunately, he appears to be on the mend. However, his story is a stark reminder that attempting any sort of fasting strategy should be practiced with care and caution, regardless of age and health status.

YouTuber Jesse James West Wins Bodybuilding Show Competing Naturally

Social media sensation Jesse James West is renowned for his unique content, offering a blend of bodybuilding, fitness, and entertainment. He boasts an impressive physique as well. In a recent video uploaded to his YouTube channel, West showcased his win at the 2023 Summer Shredding Championships while competing naturally.
Jesse James West first made headlines for his workout videos on his social media channels. He amassed a huge following of nearly 3 million subscribers on YouTube and over 960,000 on Instagram. He likes to push himself with different training routines and challenges. Besides bodybuilding, West has also tried out powerlifting, strongman, and other related activities.
West teamed up with Internet sensation Liver King to adopt his lifestyle of eating raw meat and training hard based on the nine ancestral tenets in Aug. 2022. He ate, trained, and slept like Liver King for 50 hours, all under his watchful guidance, and reported positive results in the end. Then, West collaborated with bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler for a tough upper-body workout. The four-time Mr. Olympia mentored him through the chest training and offered tips in a posing session.
West joined forces with fellow influencer Brandon William in an attempt to train like Navy seal David Goggins last August. The pair tested their limits following Goggins’ intense workout and diet for a day.
The 23-year-old partnered with powerlifting sensation Larry Wheels for an extreme workout challenge of lifting a total of 100,000 pounds in 60 minutes last November. West performed well but Wheels beat him as they raced against the clock to see who could lift the total first.
Earlier this year, Jesse James West tricked legendary bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman into believing he lifted a massive 700-pound squat using fake weights. Coleman was under the impression he motivated West to score a new PR but later found out he got pranked. He pulled a similar stunt on strongman legend Eddie Hall by lifting a huge 675-pound deadlift with fake weights two months ago.

West won in his class the 2023 Summer Shredding Championships in the Classic Physique category, held in Houston, Texas. He placed second overall in Men’s Physique and did not win the overall finals for the Classic Physique.

Jesse James West collaborated with former four-time Men’s Physique Olympia champion Jeremy Buendia for a grueling shoulders workout in preparation for his bodybuilding splash over two weeks ago. Then, he reunited with Ronnie Coleman to go through his most challenging chest workout a week later.
If the latest update is any indication, West could continue to make waves in bodybuilding if he chooses to compete regularly.

Logan Paul Challenged by Bradley Martyn to ‘No Cameras Fight,’ “Come To My Gym”

Logan Paul Challenged by Bradley Martyn to ‘No Cameras Fight,’ “Come To My Gym”

Two of YouTube’s top personalities are ready to square up in a fight, whether it be boxing or behind closed doors. After Logan Paul offered to ‘humble’ Bradley Martyn in a Puerto Rico sparring match, Martyn fired back with his own idea. He challenged Logan to fight at his home gym Zoo Culture with no cameras.
Martyn sports a hulking physique and likes to test his strength, though sometimes to his misfortune. He’s a fixture in the fitness community and is known for hosting major productions on YouTube like The Full Send Podcast and Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk. Given his knack for communication and drawing the best out of his guests, Martyn has become a fan-favorite in the industry.

Logan Paul has also built a wildly successful social media following, which includes millions on Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. In addition, he’s made multiple appearances in the WWE. During a recent Impaulsive Podcast, Paul took shots at Martyn after Bradley said he could beat Nate Diaz or boxer Devin Haney in a street fight.
Logan Paul Wants to ‘Humble’ Bradley Martyn in Sparring Match, Says He’s ‘Desperate For Clicks’
In response to Martyn saying he could take the famous Stockton native in a fight, Diaz had a simple answer:

“Bro, you’re a podcaster,” Diaz laughed.

While speaking together, Bradley commented that he hoped to see Jake ‘get his ass beat’ by Nate. After hearing Bradley’s remarks, Logan Paul called out Martyn for a sparring match in Puerto Rico.
“Even the way you are talking about street fighting Nate, you’re not going to beat Nate Diaz in a street fight. You’re a well-versed guy, you’re not a guy who has to create beefs to be cool or relevant, especially when it comes to Jake. You’re cool with us, [Jake] is in the family and you’ve even said yourself that you like him. Why say that? Are you searching for clicks?”
“Bradley, you gotta be humbled. That’s what you need. It doesn’t sound like you’ve had it yet and I will invite you to Puerto Rico to spar with me to be humbled…Bradley, if you’re serious, I’m inviting you to Puerto Rico to promote my next upcoming fight and I will spar you and I will fu**ing humble your ass,” Logan Paul said on episode 25 of Impaulsive.

Martyn responded to Logan with revised terms for their potential fight.
“Logan Paul talking about clicks n views and I’m lame. This coming from the guy who filmed a dead body for views & all of a sudden I’m reaching for views? The same reason u even call me out is for the same purpose…VIEWS. In your own words…“To promote my fight coming up”. But when I did it in my content I’m lame?
Also to defend ur brother, your the guy who at every turn with KSl you don’t have his back and you own brother even feels as though u don’t.. & that’s from his own words, me wanting to see someone get memed and liking someone can both co-exist. AND speaking about clicks and views, fk all that, come to my gym no cameras no content..we can just fight in front of zoo culture.” Bradley Martyn shared.

Logan Paul talking about clicks n views and I’m lame. This coming from the guy who filmed a dead body for views & all of a sudden I’m reaching for views? The same reason u even call me out is for the same purpose…VIEWS. In your own words…“To promote my fight coming up”. But…
— Bradley Martyn (@BradleyMartyn) July 26, 2023

Should they actually meet in the ring, Martyn would enjoy a significant size advantage over Paul given his weight of around 260 pounds. Meanwhile, Paul’s walk-around weight hovers in the 205-pound area. It should be noted, ‘The Maverick’ has legitimate combat sports experience. In 2021, Paul shared the boxing ring with legend Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather in an exhibition match.
Unusual fight arrangements seem to be the norm in 2023. Over the last few months, the new Twitter owner Elon Musk, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg have laid out terms to fight each other. With both parties seemingly interested, fans might be in for a big treat. According to UFC President Dana White, Musk and Zuckerberg are ‘dead serious’ about fighting.
Musk has transformed his body and lost 20 pounds with the help of periodic fasting. Zuckerberg also has kept tabs on his fitness with participation in Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournaments and combat sports lessons with UFC champions such as Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski.

With Bradley Martyn and Logan Paul’s feud heating up, fans are jumping to pick sides. Time will tell if they meet in the ring and if Martyn can deliver in a fight without traditional combat sports experience.

Chris Hemsworth Unveils Intense 10-Min Upper Body Workout to Get Jacked Like Thor

Chris Hemsworth Unveils Intense 10-Min Upper Body Workout to Get Jacked Like Thor

Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth boasts one of the best builds of any actor. Although he entered the industry with a relatively athletic physique, he took his fitness game to the next level for the biggest roles of his career. In a recent post made on Instagram, Hemsworth unveiled a brutal 10-minute upper body workout routine to get jacked like Thor.
Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Chris Hemsworth first gained attention for his role on the national television series Home and Away in 2004. He moved to the US to pursue his dream of making it big in movies. In 2011, Hemsworth landed the role of superhero Thor for the Marvel Cinematic Universe film. He worked hard in the gym and packed on a significant amount of muscle to get ready for the project. He received major praise for his work and turned into one of the most recognizable names in town as a result of his success.
In 2020, Hemsworth utilized bodyweight workouts to help improve his speed, agility, and balance while gearing up for the portrayal of a Black Ops mercenary in the Netflix action thriller Extraction. Then, he gained more muscle for depicting the burly superhero in the franchise’s latest installment, Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). He left the fans in awe of his gigantic biceps in a behind-the-scenes photo from the sets of the film in July 2022.
Hemsworth boasts a massive following of 57.4 million on the photo-sharing platform. He launched a fitness lifestyle app called Centrfit to provide workouts that required little to no equipment. He rolled out the app with an intense bodyweight routine, which he performed on a Naval ship in the middle of the ocean to prove it could be done anywhere.
The 39-year-old offered a challenging core workout that he often uses for getting ripped and strong last September. He followed that up with a grueling 200-rep full-body workout challenge made up of five movements. He added another full-body training routine for optimizing the pump a month later.

Chris Hemsworth improvised a quick workout session while in the wilderness of Kenya earlier this year. Since he didn’t have any gym equipment with him, he used resistance bands, functional equipment, and other objects around him to perform bodyweight exercises.
Hemsworth showed off his lean physique in a core workout update three months ago. Next, he offered a full-body training routine targeting the core for strength and endurance. He looked incredibly lean as he smashed past the arduous exercises.

Joey Swoll Reacts to Woman Mocking Gym-Goer for Going Too Slow on Stairmaster

Joey Swoll Reacts to Woman Mocking Gym-Goer for Going Too Slow on Stairmaster

With gyms and fitness centers a hot spot for viral social media trends, Joey Swoll has been a busy man. In his latest attempt to correct poor gym etiquette, Swoll took issue with a woman who shamed a gym-goer for failing to keep up with her pace on the Stairmaster machine.
Over the last few years, Joey Swoll has become popular in the fitness sector for his continued fight against what he calls ‘toxic gym culture.’ Swoll makes it his top priority to defend people who have become the victim of ruthless attacks, whether it be online or in-person. Ultimately, Swoll wants to see gyms turn into more welcoming places.
Even bodybuilders have begun to encounter issues at the gym. NPC bodybuilder Charly Young was unfortunately involved in a strange mix-up recently. While posing shirtless in front of a mirror, a man started fighting with Charly. While Young’s gym allowed for posing, some don’t. Regardless, Young handled the moment of aggression with class. Swoll later commended his mature behavior.

This is far from Swoll’s first video taking a shot at someone recording at the gym. One of the last times fans heard from Joey, he stressed that public gyms aren’t private studios for influencers. Moreover, he said recording at the gym shouldn’t be a concern for everyone there aiming to work out.
Joey Swoll to Woman Mocking Slower Gym-Goer: ‘She’s Trying to Better Herself, Take a Page Out of Her Book’
Swoll believes recording people without their permission is never acceptable. In the Instagram video, the lady was attempting to market a caffeine product, but Swoll said she went about it disrespectfully.
“So you want to film that woman to post on social media to shame her, to make fun of the way she works out all for what? For some likes and attention? To act as if you’re better than her and you’re working harder all because you’re going faster. And to sell a product? Really? You’re a grown woman at the gym and you don’t know better than to treat people this way?
And I checked Caffeine Army USA’s page, I’m pretty sure this isn’t the message they want to put out there to sell their product. You know, I’m a pretty fit person but I have a bad knee. I guarantee there are days where that woman you’re filming would smoke me on stairs. Maybe she has a bad knee, it doesn’t matter.
All that matters is she’s in the gym working hard trying to better herself, you know, you could take a page out of her book,” said Joey Swoll.

This wasn’t the first time an influencer fell into Joey’s crosshairs as a result of a rude gym encounter. Back in Feb., Swoll called out a TikTok influencer after she mocked an elderly man performing strikes on a heavy bag at his local gym. Again, Swoll highlighted that people online need to stop recording others unjustly for likes and attention.

Given that people exercise at gyms for a variety of reasons, Swoll hopes his latest subject changes her ways. Many lifters and gym-goers experience injuries, which can obviously affect the way in which a workout is performed. In the months to come, Swoll aims to continue fighting against poor gym etiquette as his movement has gained traction. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken notice of Swoll’s efforts lately.

Ronnie Coleman Puts YouTuber Jesse James West Through His Most Intense Chest Workout Yet

Ronnie Coleman Puts YouTuber Jesse James West Through His Most Intense Chest Workout Yet

Bodybuilding legend Ronnie Coleman left an indelible mark on the sport with his reign of dominance in the Men’s Open division. Besides his monstrous physique, he was renowned for his insane feats of strength in the training room. In a recent video uploaded on YouTube, Coleman teamed up with fitness influencer Jesse James West to put him through his most intense chest workout yet.
Ronnie Coleman first gained attention for his freaky muscle mass, size, and conditioning as a Men’s Open competitor in the late 90s. He secured his maiden Sandow trophy by beating the likes of Flex Wheeler, Chris Cormier, and Lee Priest at the 1998 Mr. Olympia. He proved to be a dominant champion who defended the title successfully and retired with eight Mr. Olympia titles under his belt.
Coleman separated himself from the pack with his insanely heavy lifts in training. He pulled off massive feats, such as the 800-lb squat for two reps and the 2,300-lb leg press. ‘The King’ carried his passion for bodybuilding after stepping away from professional competition.
He recently backed former 212 Olympia champion Derek Lunsford to dethrone 2022 Mr. Olympia Hadi Choopan at the upcoming edition of the event later this year. He also ranked reigning four-time Classic Physique Olympia winner Chris Bumstead’s physique as the best he’s ever seen three months ago.
Ronnie Coleman praised Lunsford as his favorite bodybuilder of the modern era last month. Along with Lunsford, he extended his support for the 2023 Arnold Classic winner Samson Dauda as one of his two top two contenders.
Coleman picked up several injuries over the years due to his intense training methods. He’s gotten stem cell therapy and reported positive results in terms of pain management. He shared that the numbness in his arms and legs went away and expected his nerve damage to heal in about two years. Coleman revealed his mobility hadn’t improved much from the stem cell treatment over three weeks ago. He reported some of his muscles were not being stimulated and expressed concerns about atrophy in his lower body.
Legendary bodybuilder Jay Cutler, who developed a fierce onstage rivalry with Coleman, praised his former foe for his contributions to the Open class. The four-time Mr. Olympia believes no competitor has been able to reach the gold standard Coleman set for the division since his departure.

Fitness sensation Jesse James West joined forces with Coleman for a training session earlier this year. Coleman was under the impression he’d motivate West to record some new PRs but West pranked him by using fake weights to score 700-lb squats and more massive lifts. West pulled the same trick on iconic Strongman Eddie Hall when he crushed a 675-lb deadlift using fake weights two months ago.
Ronnie Coleman Puts Jesse James West Through His Most Intense Chest Workout
In a recent YouTube video, Ronnie Coleman mentored Jesse James West through his most intense chest workout five days out of West’s bodybuilding contest.
“Today, we’re going to see if I could survive his most intense chest workout,” said West. “What’s the secret to a big chest?”
“Heavy lifting,” said Coleman.
The chest workout included:

Flat Bench Press
Incline Bench Press/Barbell
Dumbbell Chest Press
Dumbbell Chest Fly
Seated dumbbell curls

They trained at Coleman’s famous gym where he’s trained for over 33 years. Coleman recalled the 800-lb deadlift he recorded as the most memorable lift from his days of competition.
Coleman revealed he’d train lighter one week out from a contest. He’d use both barbells and dumbbells, reserving a day for each. He listed the flat bench as his favorite chest exercise. He trains for 45 minutes every day. Also, Coleman carb-depleted and carb-ed up for Mr. Olympia contests and ate 600 grams of protein a day.

West is gearing up for a bodybuilding contest. He partnered with four-time Men’s Physique Olympia champion Jeremy Buendia for a brutal shoulders workout to get ready for the show last week. Meanwhile, Ronnie Coleman announced his partnership with Panatta Gym Equipment to build a unique gym earlier this week.
Being under a week away from his bodybuilding show, West couldn’t have asked for a better mentor than Coleman to get him ready for contest day.

In a recent post made on Instagram, Johnson shared a technique he values for maximizing muscle growth on the cable row.
The Rock rose to prominence for his athletic talents and huge build as a professional wrestler under the WWF/WWE banner in the 1990s. He grew close to fans with his brash persona and charismatic personality during the Attitude Era of the promotion. His trash-talking gimmick turned him into arguably the most popular star of his time with 10 world championships under his belt.
While still a wrestler, Johnson got the chance to make his debut on the silver screen in The Mummy Returns (2001). He decided to make a full-time switch to acting following the role. Johnson applied the same work ethic and discipline he developed as an athlete to find success in Hollywood, becoming the highest-paid actor of the year multiple times.
What’s incredible about The Rock is that he took his fitness game to the next level in his later years. There has been speculation about whether Johnson takes steroids given his massive build although he has denied the allegations on numerous occasions. UFC color commentator Joe Rogan urged The Rock to admit he took gear following the exposé of internet sensation Liver King last December. Strongman icon Eddie Hall defended Johnson for the alleged use and suspected that he was likely on TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) earlier this year.

Johnson regularly motivates fans with his insane workout videos. He detailed a brutal upper body training session targeting chest and back muscles with only supersets four months ago. The routine was focused on building muscle and attaining a ‘super pump.’ Then, he gave fans a look into his highly-effective lower body workout where he utilized supersets on leg exercises for extra muscle burn. The clip was recorded at his famous home gym aptly named ‘Iron Paradise.’
Beyond the workouts, The Rock is renowned for indulging in some epic cheat meals. Liver King took inspiration from the hulking actor recently and challenged himself to demolish a massive feast made up of ‘sub-primal’ foods like pizza, fast food, and an array of desserts.
The Rock showed off his insane consistency with a demanding late-night workout three months ago. He smashed past the back session using a brutal variation of supersets. In addition, Johnson offered tips on performing the Smith machine incline press weeks ago. He stressed the importance of completing the movement slowly and in a controlled manner with 3-second negatives for the best results.
The Rock Shares Technique to Maximize Muscle Growth on the Cable Row
In a recent Instagram post, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson shared his techniques for maximizing muscle growth on the cable row.
“Late Friday night. Long week. Lotta stuff. My kinda therapy that’s cheaper than a shrink. Training back & chest. All supersets. High volume,” wrote The Rock. “Lots of [blood] flow. For cable row, I try to really stretch and get full range of motion at the bottom with a squeeze pause at the top. I’m tall and my muscular structure is elongated so I do my best to really engage that legit full range of motion. Makes a huge difference + you don’t have to kill yourself using heavy weight to get positive results. I’ll finish tonight’s sesh with hypers, push-ups and crunches – to work my angry 3 1/2 abs.“
The Rock’s back workout technique is all about maximizing the stretch and challenging the muscles. It’s a great way to promote back growth and create more time-under-tension. Just remember, this technique is more advanced, so start simple and progress gradually. Keep pushing and see the gains!
Johnson follows his regular routine with hyperextensions, pushups, and crunches. He then adds supplementary core work to complete his workout.

The Rock unveiled a heavy abs workout designed to rebuild strength in his core after an abdomen injury as of late. He followed that up with a taxing high-volume chest and back workout. Then, he offered an intense bicep-burning finisher workout routine to get jacked arms.
