burning it out more, feeling the squeeze more, and doing much less weight. After 2 weeks ago when I got 4 plates and a 25 on each side for 10 reps on the sitdown hammerstrength bench I proved the point to myself that I was back. 2-3 months after my surgery (6 months ago) I couldnt do 10 pounds with my right arm, so I did it as a mental game, now I passed and its time to go lighter with better quality and more reps, way more. I hate chest day, we were in there for almost 3 hours (cardio included)

Weight is awesome bro, but it's just a tool to accomplish a goal for us. I can get up there in weight on alot of exercises too, but I'm finding less and less need to. There's alot of growth to be had in weights that we thought were light when you really just use the target muscle and have the other factors in order.

Thanks man, yeah Im trying to get big and stay injury free. So now that I know I can go heavy again, its no longer something I need to do right now just get a decent weight for good quality and more towards failure

yesterday I was doing stuff like flat bench w 55's for sets of 30, and 6 sets of incline db's going up than back down

It's amazing what a small change in your workout can do for you. My chiropractor recommended that I stop going so heavy on flat bench and start doing dumbbell bench press while laying on one of those big balls. He said that laying on the flat bench pins your scapulas (is that the right word?) in place and puts extra pressure on the shoulders. I have been having a lot of shoulder issues lately and he said that this should help. I tried those for the first time the other day and couldn't believe how sore my chest was the next day.

*Scapulae, but I know what you mean

damn 4 and a quarter is no joke. My max on flat hammer strength is 3 plates for a few reps and incline hammer is 4 plates for a few..

YOU ARE IN THE GYM WAY TO LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are in the gym for 3 hours it is no wonder your chest or anything else isn't growing!!!

its with 4 people now though and 25 minutes of that is cardio

You have too much time with 4 people. I would suspect with that many people there is a lot of bs'ing flying too. Hard to stay with a good focus and intensity.

we actually do alright, its prolly 2-3 minutes between sets

Are you talking about the seated hammer strength machine where you push outwards and upward a little bit? We only have a few hammer strength machines and one is what I described, I guess it's an incline seated bench
