Question Chris, on your carb day are you only doing one meal or are you doing the whole day carbs? pics show you looking quite lean, even at 260 . The 250 pic really does show that you do not have that much fat on you. What target weight do you have in mind? It just seems like
maybe 20 lbs max of fat to be ripped

yea it would seem with as fast as you've lost weight and how depleted you feel, you might need quite a refeed. I know some guys can refeed on 150carbs, and some it take 400+

Well Mike and I had a nice long disscussion on my contest weight...For the State show, we will just come in at whatever I look best at....if its 235lbs or 225lbs then it is what it is (thats a mike saying...lol) but, for Jr.Nationals we will prob, take me down to heavyweights, as long as im not losing muscle. My guess is Ill be right around 230-232lbs for State, then we have another 9 weeks to work on getting about 7-8 pounds off of me to be totally ripped to the bone. (cut off is 224 1/4)...but I dont want to risk that roundness that I have gained this year, its given me a more 3D look to my muscle's. But we will just pay it out and see...

as for refeed days, its all day long....I tried to get in around 700 + grams of carbs this past weekend....

ahahah...yeah fat boy, eat up...i know you were happy to see that text msg at 600+ grams of carbs on sat werent you? all jjokes aside, great progress, great work ethic, great job sticking to the plan...im so stoked to see how peeled we can get you for JRs...lets keep working on the peaks too as we discussed and few other small points...doing well...dont lose focus

Had a killer leg workout last night...

did squats 3 plates a side x 6 reps, 4 plates a side x 6 reps, 5 plates a side x 6 reps
*last set taxed the crap out of my lower back

feet postioned up high and wide leg presses - 8 plates a side x 10 reps / 3 sets
Seated leg curl (gym had no lying leg curl) - 100 x 15 reps (warm up), 150 x 10 x 10 reps
DB stiff leg deads - 40 x 15 (warm up) 70 x 15 x 15 reps
Leg Extension - 100 x 15 (warm up) 150 x 15 x 15 reps

well the plan was to go heavier and do less reps, but I guess I was stronger than I tought. So next time up the weigth again, and see what happens.

back of a little on the last set then...need the back fresh for later in the week. you are getting stronger while losing weight chris, its absolutely a great thing...and the doses your using are not causing it..its your hard work

Well my pro blend came in today, so im going to use 1 1/2 scp. per serving of pro blend for 2 of my meals. I think what Mike wants to see is if the casein in the blend will keep me more anti catabolic with a slower acting protein source. Had a shake for one of my meals today, and it tasted great.

today had a great deltoid workout ...did this for today...

DB arnold presses - 40 x 15, 65 x 10, 85 x 8, 105 x 8
note - last set the final 3 reps where just normal presses

Cable side laterals - 25 x 15, 35 x 10 x 10
note - one arm at a time

DB bent laterals - 40 x 15, 60 x 10, 70 x 10
note - seated

Mach. rear delts - 125 x 15, 150 x 12, 175 x 10

Victor half db laterals - 40 x 20, 60 x 15 x 15

smythe mach. shrugs - 2 plates x 20 x 20

good workout, didnt go all out, felt a little beat, so just focused on compound movements

WoW!!! woke up this morning feeling like I got beat down...Im hungry, tired, and very sore...Its just painful to think about moving...I know once I get going Ill be ok...but this sucks...

anyway, i feel leaner today (again) I mean the fat is melting off....(so is sarah's) We are both starving here...We both find ourself's looking into the fridge in the middle of the night ...looking for nothing...LOL !!! you know dieting is hardcore, when you wake up in the middle of the night hoping that its 4 am so you can eat your first meal...(5 whole eggs, yummmm, yummmm)

At least you guys are going through it together. That makes a big difference and makes it easier. I had to endure my ex eating pizza and stuff in front of me when I was dieting for my last show and I wanted to kill her lol

I gotta give it up for midwest iron and all the local gyms that came out to this event. Great support, great show of raw strength. LightsOut it was great talking with you and i met a few others from the board as well. Its nice to put faces with names and talk in real life. Couldnt be happier for the success of this show for midwest iron. im glad they let us be part of it. This whole weekend would not be possible without Chris250. I owe you a lot for that big guy, youre the best, thanks so much for all the work, the talking and picture taking and be a truly great ambassador for not only us but the sport. You guys are so lucky to have chris on this board. there arent many like him left anymore...humble, honest, hard working guy who really cares about everyone...

agreed.....one of the coolest people i know:wave:

This week Mike has me taking out 5 grams of fat per the first 4 meals...so now only about 5 grams fats per meals 1-4...he has me add in 2 tsp of MCT powder to my meals...the shakes are easy, cause Ill just throw those in...but the meals, Ill prob just mix in water and drink...I dont think there is any flavor...
