well another week of dieting is over with...and I can honestly say, that this week was tough...mentally it took a tool on me. I mean I got super lean this week (mct did the trick) and I think everyone will be very impressed by my new pics...

im holding a solid and very lean (for me) 240lbs... I feel pretty good at this weight. I would say im as lean now as I was at 230-232lbs last time when I dieted (2009). I feel fuller, bigger, leaner, harder, ect, ect. I cant complain about one thing, except that im suffering more this year. Than in years past. I guess, maybe in my head since im using less "super supplements" im training harder, and dieting much more strict in years past.
 
your doing well. refeeding will help this weekend. We are so far ahead at this point im not taking any more cals out unless absolutely have to
 
but the meals, Ill prob just mix in water and drink...I dont think there is any flavor...

i put mct in almost every meal year round. The shakes are easy and if not dieting the other meals are too, I just put it on oatmeals or rice or whatever carb Im eating.

If eating low carb its not as easy, but I'll just pour on my steak or chicken or whatever and eat it that way. the no flavor makes it go down real easy.
 
Ok guys, getting my carbs in today..trying to hit 700+ carbs..its actully harder than you think...prob. got in around 300-400 right now, at 6 pm or so...

got to train today with a world class powerlifter, that holds a crap load of records, and is clean...We did some chest, and triceps today...He wants to compete in a bodybuilding show, this year. So he wanted to see how I trained. So we did my workout this time, maybe next time. When im in offseason mode, we can do his type of workout...
 
well the last few days havnt been that great...Not so much with diet, im tired and beat...but just family life...Grace had a fall on the monkey bars at school and really hurt herself petty good...and Sarah has to get some tooth work that is gonna cost an arm and leg...I mean we have great insurance and pay alot for it, but hell dental doesnt cover shit...I mean it covers cleanings and crap, but what about surgey and crap...not hardly anything...so that puts a dent in the income for awhile...I havnt really felt like being around people this week, took the day off cause I wasnt feeling to hot, kinda sick or something. Flu like symtoms, so I rested up today, and will start over tommarow. Not a good start to the week, but hopefully the weekend, will be much better.
 
Had a killer back and bicep worout at MWI today...

we did, rev. grip lat pulldown, 3 x 10-12, DB bent rows (two arms, same time) 3 x 10-12, DB pullovers 3 x 15-20, close grip pulldowns 3 x 10-12. Then move on to biceps...

DB alt. standing curls - 3 x 10, DB Pin Wheel curls 3 x 15 (each arm), Cable Rev. Grip curls 3 x 15...that was pretty much it for the day...fast pace, pretty heavy, in the garage gym...loud ass heavy metal music....it was a great workout...Fun place to train..
 
Its funny how much different our workouts are.

what do you do for back and bis ?

had to take monday off, after trashing back and bis on sat. did chest, and tri's with Frank on sunday...so today (tues) gonna hit legs tonight...Hope I have it in me...got a couple clients toight...so its gonna be a late night...
 
ok legs done last night...it was a dorian style workout...

lying leg curls (one leg at a time) 3 x 10
stiff leg deads 3 x 20
squats supersetted with
leg extrensions 3 x 10 (both)
that was it pretty much...trashed legs in a good 50 mins...didnt have the energy for much more...went pretty heavy on squats, and leg extens. on the first set of squats/leg extens. did 15 reps
 
I had a killer delt and calf workout last night...great pump, felt strong...all around good workout...

getting ready to take this into the final run for the state show...got 5 more weeks after this weekend...getting ready to really buckle down and get more serious on this diet...(not that I havnt) but even more strict with my proteins, and fats....still using cashews, as a fat...and eating fatter beef (like 90% lean) ... cardio has been good...today it was tough, but I was pretty depleted this morning..normally by wends im out of it..and just have to push threw the week...with working a normal job, its tougher now...than it use to be...overtime, and weather isnt always the best where I work...but you deal with it...gotta make it happen...
 
Well guys this week so far, I've had some great workouts. Im pretty depleted already. I mean, I feel like my body is burning threw everything so fast now, and that im getting leaner each day...its in overdrive now. So I have to be somewhat careful that I dont lose muscle on the way down from this point on. The amino infusion, has given me some crazy pumps, I mean on low/no carbs I can still get a sick pump. that is pretty amazing on its own. Normally, on lower carbs I cant get a pump at all...Going use this the rest of the way threw my prep, and see how well I recover from my workouts.

anyway, im down to 232-233lbs today..looking leaner each day now...every little bit counts now...

got some national level guys doing the Iowa/Midwest show, so gotta bring in the A game now...
 
oh yeah, almost forgot....added in some carbs pre and post workout...just for some energy needs...only 25-30 per pre and post...but hell its better than nothing...

well atleast you will be able to go against somebody thats on that level. It will only help you judge yourself.

yeah, im more motavated now ...not that I wasnt before...but it brings a different level of intensity to the workout now...:gold:
 
well today I felt pretty good. I woke up kinda beat up, but as the day went on I got stronger and more into work...I went to the gym and did an arm workout (bis and tri's) and it turned out to be pretty good. Good pump, strengh was decent, looked nice a full. Even without hardly any carbs in me (maybe around 30 grams pre workout)...I have been using MC IGF on my biceps preworkout and really have noticed a good effect from it...I applied it pre workout the last month and it really has made a noticalbe difference...and its only been around 30mcg's to each bicep...I think Im going to do this to my bulky part of my tricep to, starting next week.
 
looking forward to the weekend ...training with world class powerlifter Mike Moore, and with my old training partner, Frank on sunday...
